9611G Firmware

I have been having an issue when calling from 9611G to an outside AA the outside AA dosent recieve the DTMF tones. the current firmware is 6.3037. is there a newer firmware out ther for these phones.

The latest 9.0.2/8.1.8 service packs include 6.3116 software for those models.

Has any body had this particular issue where once connected to an outside auto attendant it wont send out proper DTMF tones

What type of trunks do you have?

If you make an internal call, can you hear the DTMF tones?

Does it work when you make the call using an analog extension?

Why have you started this thread. You already had a thread discussing this subject where you haven't responded to the last suggestion? Simply starting a new thread doesn't help you or anyone.

When dialing internally it works. I can make outbound calls. I also have a analog conference phone and DTMF will work calling calling outbound.

The issue is when making an outbound call from a 9611G phone I reach an outside A A. The A A says press 1, 2, 3 etc. But when I press digit the A A doesn't respond. Not sending DTMF once connected to AA.

PRI I contacted provider. They can hear tones but don't see digits being sent. Analog conference phone works fine.

Try extension > voip > out of band DTMF

I looked for old thread. Started a new one. Sorry. What was the answer. I actually tried out of band DTMF. Didn't work.

upgraded to 9.0.200.0.860, verified firmware at 6.3116, changed out of band DTMF on an extension, only used U law for codec, tryed plugging phone directly into switch, increased TDM>IP gain, rebooted several times, uploaded system files from SD card, the 9611G's still will not dial digits once connected to an outbound AA. And i know im stupid for starting another thread. So does anyone have any knowledge on this issue.

Okay, I'll admit I'm a grumpy git, but it's because we read all the threads and end up with them lodged in our memory to the exclusion of anything more relaxing like thinking about beer and pizza. At least you were better than some who would have just posted "Phone doesn't work".

CRC checking enabled on the trunk?

Yes CRC is enabled on trunk

i unnchecked CRC but could only do a merge because of users on phone. but it didnt make a difference.
