9608gs Visual alerting

Hi All

Running 11.0 server edition select with with 250 plus users. Is there a way you can turn on visual alerting via 46xx settings? This is so i don't have to walk around the office changing it manually on each handset.

You can use a backup/restore file for 16xx and 96xx series handsets, but you must set the parameter first.
The instructions are found in the H323 Telephone Installation manual.

The parameter is PHNVISUALALERT Visual alerting on (1) or off (0).

you could try this in your 46xxsettings.txt file
SET PHNVISUALALERT 1
