Hello! I have a few users who are now working from home. Most were able to login just fine. A couple are getting an "Empty SIP Proxy Server List" error.
All users have Avaya 9608g.
Users are all set up accordingly.
Phones have been programmed to connect to the correct servers.
The users who are unable to connect never actually connect to the server, and no IP address is assigned to them in IP office.
Users have swapped non-working phones with phones that have been confirmed as working,-- the non-working phones work, and the previously working phones get the "Empty SIP Proxy Server List" error.
We've been trying to find patterns to see what the issue could be. The only issues we have found that are common is that they all have a modem/router combination unit,-- but it's likely this is just a coincidence as we have some working users who have the same gear. The non-working users have checked with their ISP's and all ports that are required are not blocked.
What else should we be looking at?
