Hi everybody
I' have some problems with and Avaya 9608 on IPO version 6.1.22
I dosent seem to work at all, while on version 7.0.x it comes straight on?
Does anyone have these problems ?
 
Contact your Avaya business partner and they will inform you that the set is on ship hold, as the phones do not work with IP Office.




 
I've been using a 9608 since the 6.1 BETA and never had an issue with it. I think it is a great phone.

If the 6.1.22 and R7 systems you have tried this on are different systems, then you need to look at your settings and make sure you have everything in place.

As far as I know, they are on sales hold, but are supported. There are some issues in the field (though mine has always been fine) and they have stopped selling them. Your BP should still be able to get support on them though.

Sounds like a firmware issue maybe? I've ran them since the beta and haven't had any issues.

The issue with the phone doesn't stop the phone from registering or working. It can cause the phone keys to lock-up. You should be able to get it working though. I'd mirror the working scenerio and make sure all your settings are the same.
