Hi Guys,

We're investigating an odd issue at 1 of our sites. 9608 handsets are randomly rebooting. Pretty much sure it's their local network as they have several sites and this is the only one with issues.

We found this in the trace and the real question I'm asking is; Does anybody know what Reason 2 is? I've found loads of 3 and 4 threads, but not 2. :(

11:54:22 4155989645mS H323Evt: Keep-alive time-out on 202 (keep_alive_count 0)
11:54:22 4155989645mS H323Evt: GK: Unregister endpoint SystemName_54424ae322c26221 for extension 202 reason 2

Theories are welcome. :)

Would have thought, but Keepalives are Disabled. Was actually thinking of Enabling them to see if any difference.

Plus I would expect them all about the same time rather than 1 every hour or so.

You can't turn those particular keepalives on/off, they are part of the underlying connectivity and always happening :)

There are plenty of threads on "Reason 2", though most of them are in the Russian.

All of them two common factors: VLAN/DHCP issues (IPO as DHCP mixed with another DHCP server, improper Options settings and tagging, etc)

Kind regards

Gunnar
