So I got my way through the Sonicwall VPN settings necessary using an old 9650 I use just for that purpose (it has a broken hookswitch).
Got the 9650 to register, tested good.
When I try to use a new 9608 with the same settings, it makes it through the VPN and pulls files from the system, even asks for extension and password. But after entering ext. and password, the screen only says "Phone" and cannot be used. The system doesn't register it in SSA.
I've tried this with multiple 9608's and get the same results. Noted one post with this issue and deleting the extension and re-creating worked... that did not work for me. I'm assuming it's a firmware issue with the 9608 and 9.1 - I've seen some mention of this but no resolution. Anyone have experience with this?
