Does anyone know why the 9608 does not come with a color screen option.

I use the 9608 for many installations that would require expensive replacement of cat3.
For many small business the cost is to high especially in old buildings.
The 9608 is the perfect solution.
If it is power issue to provide color why not add a POE injector for the 9608.

LOL because it doesn't. Anyway do you mean the 9508 perhaps? Wondering because you mention CAT3.
Regardless they are both an old range.
Interestingly the J100 appear to use less power than the 9608 and look like you can set them for 10Mbps
If the 9608 is working over your CAT 3 then the J100s might as well.
Seems like a crazy idea to me but you never know.

Sorry about that, yes I meant the digital 9(5)08 sets.

They will also do H323 and act as a 9611 (J169/J179 anyway).
