Hi all,
I hope someone can help with this one?
I have Avaya IPO in our workplace and 9600 series handsets at home. With our current licence setup, I'm only able to enable 4 remote workers at a time.
If I configure the 9600 series handset to connect to our call server locally (192.168.48.211) whilst in the office - it works great. No need for remote worker enabled.
I've got an OpenVPN tunnel set up between my home and office router. I can access all network resources from home and ping the call server successfully - however when I use the handset remotely, it stops me at the "Not Logged In" screen, like it does when I've not got "Enable Remote Worker" checked. If I check that box, it fixes my issue - but I don't want to enable that option as I have other colleagues that need it.
I thought by using my own VPN, I don't need that enabled? It certainly works fine when I use the handset in the office.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I may have missed?
Thank you in advance.
