9600 DND 1

Does the 9600 series have the ability for DND; if not is there a workaround? I was able to do system wide DND but I was not able to take it off on any of the phones.

You can do this by buttons or shortcodes so yes you can.

Well I labeled it Send all Calls. I want the DND

You are not sending, you are blocking

Just program the DND button and turn it on.

PhonesPhones, how are you programming the button? You need to select the feature from the list and then label it, simply labelling it does nothing. "Send all Calls" is just an unfinished sentence, keep it as "DND"

It's not working...but it shows as a button. it has always shown as button but it doesn't do anything when it's pressed. So I tried shortcode *08 as well and that didn't work either.

Have you got the firmware on the correct level for the IP office? Out the box it comes with CM/Definity firmware

I removed it on button programming and looked on the features page but it doesn't give me the option to turn it on/off. it just shows off. I can turn it on system wide but then I can't turn it off via the phone.

Press right button when the feature is highlighted, it should also make one of the softkeys beneath the screen say "Change". Do not assign "Enable Do not disturb" using User rights because that locks the feature in this way

Ok, Got it to work. It was the user rights. dnd was applied to user rights.

I didn't think it was the user right because I was able to see the button. I will know better next time.
