Today two 9504 phones displayed "Please Wait". I'm on IP Office Server Edition 9.0. Long story short: unplugged line cord from 9504 and plugged it into a 1408 phone. Phone began downloading firmware, took 3-4 minutes. After 1408 phone finished upgrade, unplugged line cord from 1408 and plugged it back into 9504 and phone worked immediately.
Don't ask me why this works, it seems ass-backwards. The 9504 phones had worked for months without any issues.
