9310 w/ 9360 running ASC

Hey All, is there a command through the OS or maybe the client port to get the serial numbers off of the tape drives that are attached? These are 9490's and the SN is on the front of the drives and we don't want to disrupt the operation. Thanks

I think the SSU in the 9490 will report the drive and card serial numbers in the 9490s

I Concur.

Also, you can get the info from the operator panels on the rear of the transports if you can't be bothered attaching a laptop to the SSU.

Unfortunatly, the operator panel on the back of the transport only shows frame number and slot, not the actual serial number.
