9150 Question?

I've decided that I'd like to invest in a 9150 system to connect 8 phones at a remote location 4-1/2 miles away. I've gotten quotes from 3 different vendors, and the price seems acceptable.

I have a question, though:

I'll be sharing an existing data T1 for this service. The current setup is..
Main location -
T1 to Paradyne FrameSaver (frame relay unit)
Framesave to Cisco 1700 Router.
Cisco 1700 Router to 3COM 3300 Switch
3COM 3300 Switch to Main Server

Remote Location-
T1 to Paradyne FrameSaver
FrameSaver to Cisco 1700 Router
Cisco 1700 Router to 3COM Hub

OK, I understand the 9150 has a reach line card, which connects to a router. Do I need separate routers, or can this work through existing Cisco 1700 routers (they are multiport capable)? What about my FrameSaver units? If I can't use the existing routers, I have two old 2500 series Cisco routers. Can they be used for VoIP?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

All you need is a seperate Ethernet connection for your voice traffic (in each router). This is so you can set the priority on that Port higher than the other (data) on both sides. This will give you the grading you need to carry your voice traffic without problems. Good Luck!
