Hello,
When users dial 911 there is a delay of 5 or 10 seconds before the go through, no issues when dial other numbers. any settings I need to adjust? please advise. Thanks!

In your ARS Analysis table, make sure that '911' is defined as 3 digit minimum, 3 digit maximum. 911 calls should go out over their own Route Pattern with an FRL of '0'.

Kevin,

Thanks for the response. That is exactly what I have configured in the system. Dialed string 911 with min 3 and max 3 with their own route pattern with and FRL of '0' and call type "alrt" so, I don't know why there's a delay when a call is placed for 911. Thanks!

Check the ARS Digit Conversion table and make sure there are no entries that modify the '911' dial string.

You can put a trace up on your station and place a test call to verify that you are going out the correct pattern. Just be careful - The PSAPs have very limited tolerence to 'test' calls.

Kevin,

Yes, I placed a trace and the call is going out the correct pattern... is a very odd issue.
