911 routing through VIC2- 2FXO card in 3825

Greetings,

Next question: for 911 routing at site with 1 PRI... I understand that 911 routing can be accomplished via RG/RL including PRI port and then out through the FXO ports if the PRI port fails due to circuit down. Question is how can this be configured on CUCM. Once the VR 3825 has the ports configured, can all the rest of the config be done throught the CUCM admin GUI?

Is there any dial peers or CLI config that needs to be applied on the VR 3825?

If anyone has implemented this 911 back-up through POTS on VIC2-2FXO card in 38XX, please advise. Not very proficient with CLI so as much detail as possible would be appreciated.

If your gateway is registered to cucm via h323 you will need dial-peers. If it is MGCP you don't as call manager has complete call control.
