I know this has been discussed a lot,but I need it one more time for me.System is a Norstar MICS I believe,SP30M1F01 NAT is the software version. That is one of my questions, how do tell what release it is with the software version? Also trying to set system so you can dial 911 just by going off hook.it works when I have it set up that you grab a line pool to get dial tone, but cant seem to figure why I cant get it to work with grabbing intercom, and dialing 911.I think you have to use destination codes, but guess I not smart enough to figure it out.Been away from Nortel too long I guess.I would appreciate any help on this...….

You can click on the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) button up top to see how to do some things.
Here is the direct link to the SP codes:
Dest codes and routes are found under Services
Pick a Route such as Route 001 and tell it to use BlocA for PRI lines or Pool A for analog lines, make it Public.
Then go to Dest codes and choose one such as 9, tell it to use Route 001 and Absorb All (meaning do not send the 9 to the carrier)

For 911
If 9 is not used you can program a dest code of 911 to use route 002
Route 002 should be programmed as above but add external number of 911

I hope this correct, been awhile since I played with 911.
You could test with 611 or 311 or 411 so you don't bother 911 so often.
