How can I route 911 calls through a PRI T-1 that uses the 892 pool to dial out. We had POTS lines in the PBX(70 pool) but the customer disconnected them un beknownst to us. Thanks for your help.

you need to change the settings for the pool in the ARS.
print the ARS and look which setting is used and change the pool.
you can also post the ARS if you like here and we can give you pointers

You can't change the default 911 route to use anything other than pool 70.

You can put your PRI channels in pool 70, or create an ARS table with 911 as the number and 892 as the pool.

The best answer is the one that TTT gave, just move your lines to the 70 pool.

Other things "DEFAULT" to that pool, so it is best to do it that way for a lot of reasons.

I had to do just that thing a few days back to fix an International Dialing problem.

thanks guys
I still learn new things every day about the old relict called Magix/Legend
