Hi,

I have a 11C on version 4.0 and I want to know where I can configure 911 calls. It should show as the DID # of the person who called the 911 service but first I want to find out where can i see that on the switch. I want to know if it is showing as the DID or the billing # and how can I change it to DID just in case it shows as the billing #.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can choose what you send by building entries in the CLID table, Which can be printed in 21. These entries are assigned to phones by the digit that follows the DN when you print a phone.
This will not help you if the CO is flagging the billing number to all outbound calls for the ANI.

with pri, (and some newer t's) you can send the did, or even dept main numbers, not just on 911 but on all calls.. as the above post said, ld 21 prt clid.. the default clid is entry 0, if you program a key 0 scr 4545 return, then it uses clid entry 0. scr 4545 1, would use entry 1 the you use entry 1.. if you haven't used clid, and want all outgoing to be did. then make entry 0 your did entry.. the clid entry works on key 0, to make other keys display key 0's did number, the key 1 scr 2525 d.. that is needed if your key 1 is a non did...if you need the code for adding a clid entry, let me know

Do you want to show the DID only to 911 but show your billing/main # on regular calls?

look up ESA (emergency service access data block) in ld 24 in the ntp you will need package 329 to make this work

Check with your T1 provider to make sure that they are not sending billing number for 911 calls. You can call and test with 911 just inform them you are testing and want to confirm that all information is correct. They should be able to tell you what number and Address being sent.
