Is there anyway to test my 911 alarm points without actually having to dial 911. I tried disconnecting the phone line but it won't route it through the ARS without a dial tone i guess. I can't think of any other way. I tried to program 411 as EMERGENCY in digit strings but that didn't work. this is sx200icp v3

911 must go out on the trunk to raise a 911 alarm. If you connected a local back onto a loop start trunk that should work to at least go to your 911 answer point(s). In ARS route 911 calls out that trunk. Try it.

I think pandabear means to use an analog extension and loop that back into the analog trunk port. the analog extension will provide the dial tone you need.

paterson" is correct. The local/extension PLID will supply dial tone to the analogue loop start trunk and enable you to tone out 911.
