What does the rest button do on this card! I have my external ACD FLEX server connected to it! Does this shut down UNIX if its pushed or just the card is rest! Is this something you should do during the day if ya have a problem with the acd server? Thaks

The reset button does a hard reset/cold boot of the whole system if you do the one on the ADP shelf, and just the whole ACD system if you do it on that processor.

It's much more safer to bring the ACDAPP down through the menu commands and restart the system that way than it is to just unceremoniously hit the reset button - especially if the system is not the latest 6.6 software running on unixware instead of unix. Unix does not like to have the reset button pushed without being shut down first.
