We have an issue on a new 9.1.6 install. The voicemail pro which is installed on a 2012 virtual server stops transferring calls. I can call into any module on the VM Pro it answers. However, if I try to dial an extension or select a digit that would transfer the call someplace the call goes no place. This makes no difference if I dial a 4 digit extension number, dial "0" or select "dial by name". If I select "dial by name" I get all the options to enter the name but when I find a name that matches and press "1" to choose that name the call goes no place. I hear nothing. However, if I restart the services everything works just fine.

We are still trying to determine how long it is before the issue starts. Most recent was less than 24 hour time period. Customer has SIP trunks. No they do not have IPOSS.

Thanks

This is a new install with 8 location. We have been installing them over the last two weeks. Issue was noticed about a week or so ago. Strange thing is it works fine some of the time & other times it does not. It is working fine today. The issue only affects anything that would involve the VM Pro transferring. The VM Pro will not transfer to any phone in the SCN. You stop & start the services & it works fine.

Hopefully, since we are through adding IPO's to the SCN we will not have any more issue. We had major issues with getting SCN lines & VM Pro to work at the remote locations. We had to delete all the SCN lines & IP routes multiple times. I have a whole post on 9.1.6 SCN Issues.

Thanks

Is it just with vm pro transfers? Or do you have issues doing normal transfers through the phones?

Just with voicemail pro. None of the IP Phones in any of the offices have issues transferring.

We have the same issue with a UCM on 9.1.6.
It just drops the call and in system monitor it says "no voicemail found for this number" which is not surprising as it is a external number we want to transfer to.
Of all apps the VM pro was the most reliable, it always worked. Since 9.0 it is as buggy as One-X portal.

Sorry, rboubrava I thought I had responded to you post. VM Pro is running on a 2012 R2 Virtual Server with One-X Portal. I am told this is a new server physical server with nothing else running on it.

Thanks

is the a central server for the SCN or have you given each site its own VM Pro?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
