I'm having trouble restoring my win2k, sql 2000 sp3a master to a remote server from my media server. I tried putting the db in single user via the command line but it hangs up and also tried automating it from bu exec. I found a post sp3a patch that I installed but that didn't help either. The veritas tech had me change my media server to use named pipes and I finally got a good restore on my other databases. I have my remote sql agent on the remote computer too. I'm still not having any luck on this master though. Please help. Thanks in advance.
