Hopefully this is super simple.
I have a Hunt group that has one user in it that is set to forward to a shortcode that is pointed at an Embedded Auto attendant.
I have done this many times over. I created a (SC) *86 (feature) Auto Attendant (TN) AA:ExactNameofAA
Yet when I test it, I get a "Number Busy".

I have tried variations of the (TN) like "AA:"ExactNameofAA and "AA:ExactNameofAA" and AA:"ExactNameofAA" all to no avail.

I have even changed the name of the AA and the code itself. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks!

I guess one thing I could add is that I have an SCN. There is a UC module at the other location but I only have embedded here. I know that is not supported but that's what the sales guy sold them. Is that causing my problem?

Thanks!

You can delete this post. When you network a Embedded system with a voicemail pro system using an SCN, nothing can make a call go to the embedded Auto Attendant. solution is to create shortcodes that used the VMPro's voicemail for all Auto Attendants.

No, the solution is to change the system with the embedded card to "Centralised" voicemail and point the destination to the relevant SCN line :)

I wish it was that easy. They still want their voice mails stored locally just in case the vpn goes down. I already have the fallback routes programmed. This is a mess.

Thanks!

Then you need to setup a centralized voicemail pro system.
Embedded is not supported in a SCN!

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

There is always a conflict on what "they" want and what is possible.
"They" must accept that some thing just won't work. And if they really need a local storage system then sell them a second VM Pro server.
