Is it possible to backup the 8X24 system....if so what is needed.

One note to add to Aragon's answer is that you should use
NRU 8.0 for backing up and restoring 3X8, 6X16, 8X24, and MICS T1/Rel 1 & MICS 1.1. Using the "run/submit job" option is the only way to do so.
