8x24 CID Trunk

I have a Nortel 8x24 System with one Station Expander and a NAM running.

I want to add CID and I realize that you either have to use an M8 or use a ox12 with CID cards. I also relaize the limits that CID only appears on oone phone unless you pick up the line or F811.

I go the system from a working pull and all is weel after 2 years more running the NAM evan works fine ... although I would really likt to image the thing incase of HD failure but thats a different discussion...hehe

I do have an even dumber question...So I knwo to install the 0x12 then plug it into the expansionport top down...but I am having trouble understanding the line config. If i hook up the incoming lines to the first 4 lines on the 0x12 how do I tell the KVM that lines 1-4 come through the 0x12 not the KVM??

I know that sounds dumb but thanks in advanced!

You'll unassign lines 001-008 from all phones. Then assign line 009-012 as your lines 1-4. You should be able to rename the lines to appear on the displays as you need.
