Is the 8x16 combo module supported on the BCM 400 Release 4.0? I didnt think it was but my vendor is saying it is

Yes, according to the Technical Bulletin from Nortel, the BCM 400 Rel 4.0 can support the G8x16 combo card.

- The DIP switches on the G4x16 and G8x16 MBM are used to set the DS30 designation and offset for the Analog Trunk
Interface part of the MBM. The MBM automatically assigns the entire next bus to the 16 DSM part of the MBM. However,
you cannot choose DS30 7 for the G4x16 and G8x16 MBM, because the DSM lines would not be accessible. The same
applies to DS30 6 if your system is set to a 3/5 split.
 

Supported on Bcm 4.0,Bcm450 and Bcm50 rel 2 and 3.
