after months of normal operation (under XP) -I have been getting an erratic problem of draft mode fouling up the printer- it cycles to start printing, then makes a loud zip noise and grinds to a halt.
Organge light flashes - Pressing it light shuts the printer off- on turning it back on- it spits out a single line of garbage -- normal mode OK --
further aggravation- is that occassionally I can print draft w/o a problem --
the printer about 5 years old -- is it printer error? any advice appreciated.
