8900 series phone

I am not familiar with the 8900 series phone. I am having a problem getting them to register to my CUCM 9.x. I have a 8941 configured in CM, but the file will not register.
Couple of things:
There are no active servers listed.
No IP address (DHCP set)
manually ethered TFTP server.

1.)Do I neet to Factory reset the phone or are there other areas I need to look at first.
2.) It will not grab an IP, where would I look to verify the DHCP port.

If the phone is not grabbing an ip its either an issue with the DHCP scope. Or a port setting. Such as is the voice vlan on the port. Every now and then I do need to manually put the VLAN number into the phone to get it work correctly.
