8831 SIP phones won't re-register in SRST

SRST - 10.5
IOS - 15.4(3)M2, release (fc2)

When failing over to SRST, the 8831 conference phone never re-registers. I'm not even sure where to being troubleshooting this.

Start by looking into the
"Show call-manager fallback" command output
Is 8831 on the srst list

do you have any other SIP models that work in SRST?

They all do. Weird thing - at one SRST site, the 8831 works and it doesn't not show in the list from the call-manager-fallback command.

I wonder if you are missing the "voice register global" config from the router that's not working.
Then again you said all your other SIP phones register in SRST

I *think* the sip-ua information was the cause.
sip-ua
registrar ipv4:10.1.1.1 expires 600

These lines were missing. At any rate, the 8831 registered when those 2 lines were added.

You're probably right on. Just don't know why the rest of your SIP phones were registering but not the 8831. Sounds very strange and improbable.
