I tried to restart one of my 8700 servers, but it won't come back. Some lights are on on the front panel, but I don't know what they are indicating. Picture attached. The server was in busy out mode. I can't ping it on the corporate LAN NIC and also not on the duplication link NIC.

Pressing the power button doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Thanks for your help.

Try removing the flash card (push the gray button)
also unplug USB modem
Then unplug power and then reconnect the power. See if this allows it to boot.

You can connect a laptop to the services port with a CAT-5 crossover cable, configure the laptop and see if you can ping the server.

What is the CM software version on you s8700?

I still have a backup server.
IP configuration and software is the same. Do I just have to set it to standby and plug everything in and that's it?

call and I will help you
