Hi,
I am having difficulty getting Windows Network Load balancing working in Multicast mode through my 8600. I have two servers split accross two IBM blade chassis with the 8600 providing the connectivity between the two chassis.
The planned configuration is as follows :-
8600 in core with user VLAN's configured
Server 1 in Blade Chassis 1 VLAN A connected to Nortel 2/3 Blade Switch, connected to 8600 via mlt
Server 2 in Blade Chassis 2 VLAN A connected to Nortel 2/3 Blade switch, connected to 8600 via mlt
I beleive I need to add a static arp (with multicast MAC) for the virtual IP of the WNLB. This entry will need to be associated with each MLT I assume.
Any guidance would be appreciated,
joca
