Hello to everyone
first of all, excuse my english!
Had to retire my old 860 and replaced it with a new 8550. Problem is I have loads of ink for the 860 and none for the 8550. Can I use this 860 ink in the 8550 with some artistic remodeling? Does anyone know the exact differences between the inks?.

I would really appreciate any help.

(this is an remodelled copy/paste of an existing thread)

thnaks a lot!

NO! It is formulated specifically for each printer.
You WILL lose a printhead! $$$$$$!
The 860 is no longer supported as it is an end of life unit.
Gift the ink to someone with one.

Sell your 860 ink on ebaY.

There is no shortage of people looking to buy your leftovers. Then use that money to buy the proper ink for your printer.
