hi - so we have like 10 Zones built in our CS1000 and we have one Zone that I guess the technician forgot to add for outbound 855 dialing.

How do I add access for a Zone to dial out for 855 dialing?

thanks!
Robert

The zone based dialing will have a prefix like 1024 for example as an SPN. So it would be built like 1024 1855

thank you!

Can you tell me where to check and or add that to the Zone?

Here is an example of our Branch Office site for 1855

thank you...

where can I find my prefix for that Zone? I do have access to Element Manager if that makes it more simple?

In LD 117

got it - thanks!!

So Zone 29 (below) is the only Zone that can't dial out to an 855 number...and I did the prt SPN above and get an error of ESN071 - what does that mean?

You would have to add 1855 for each zone

200 1855
101 1855
102 1855

and so on

I believe 855 is a fairly new toll free AC

ok thanks...could you walk me thru that?

First of all you need to pri t a toll free SPN for each zone and see what RLI it is going to. Then you can add the new one. This is all done in LD 90. Here is a print out of one of mine

oh nice! and I did a print and I do see that SPN 2001 (which is Zone 200 and anything that uses a '1')...so from the below print I do see area codes 800, 866 and 877 in that SPN but no 855. So can I just modify that SPN and add 855?

Yes, modify that SPN and add ARRN 855 to go out ARLI 113

so weird - when I do CHG and get to SPN I enter in 2001 and then I get a SDRR prompt and hit enter and then get a ITEI prompt and hit enter but never get a ARRN prompt?

Sorry, at SDRR you need to put in ARRN
