8524 Received unrecognized command from the client agent.

Arcserit 6.61 Advanced Edition

The resolution posted on the support site is to stop the job and retry. I have done this and got the same error. The end result is that the backup operation failed. However, I still see that data has been written to the backup tape. Is it safe to assume the backup is good and that the 8524 error is essentially a "bump in the road"?

Has anyone else had this error while using the client agent to back up?
