My 850DP just started getting paper jams, but only when I have paper in upper tray, when upper tray is empty, Printer works fine. I install paper and get Paper jam, "check front cover," and it's ALWAYS just starting into feedpath from upper tray, and it is always in same spot approximately 1" into feedpath. any help is appreciated!

The feed clutch for the upper tray is slipping this is causing the 2 trays to pick for the same job and this will cause a jam at the front cover. usually you will find paper from the upper tray fed up about 1" through the lower feed rollers. Replacing the clutch should resolve it, p/n 401080802.
