8400 Error 07010 1

Can any kind soul please tell me what Error 07,010.43:11293 is on an 8400 Phaser ? The machine tells me to contact my dealer which I have done.

I have had such problems with pale streaks that I am tempted to update the machine. Would this be wise ? Or will I find the same pale stripes on the newer Phasers ?

Printhead is stuck in tilt position.
The process gearbox is out of sync.
This could be from spilled ink on the roll block, or tilt cam gear.
An old maintenence roller may cause paper to stick to the drum.
Pale streaks could be from that too.
Worth having it looked at, if never had repairs before.
If over 400$, look at new units.
