8300 System Data Converter

I will be converting a 2000IPS to a SV8300 soon and have not used System Data Converter before. Is there anything I need to watch out for? If I need to modify any of the csv files, can that be done in the file that Data Converter created or do I have to export it to excel? What CMDs typically need modified?

For what it's worth, if I remember correctly, the converter puts the phone extension on the first button.
