Hello,
CM5
we are in the middle of an office move of 1000 users into 1 office, where before they were spread across 3.
All 1000 will hook back to a remote data centre. Users are fully IP.
Original setup is 8700's in data centres with 8300/G450 LSP at 3 sites.
The data setup is resilent, but just in case I was going to install one of the 8300/G450 with an ISDN30 into the new office.
My question is, would the 8300/G450 have enough capacity to handle all the users if the link to the data centre failed? I think that in a standalone setup, the 8300 handles upto 450 users, but can cope with more as a lsp.
Also, if the 8300 cannot handle the 1000 users, does the 8300 take as many of the users it is capable and drop the rest or is it all or nothing?
Apologies if the above is a bit confusing or vague.
Any thoughts are much appreciated
