Guys, need your help. I have an 8300 with ver 8 L2.01. I was recently notified that they system is rebooting possibly daily. As I have dug dipper into the fault displays, the only thing that keeps showing up an update being not allowed between the cpu and the iplc. I ran the firmware update for line/trunks but it will not allow me to choose the iplc card. It is the only card that shows up, but I can't select it.
Looking for some ideas. I think I am going to try and see what happens if I put ver 9 on it. But it doesn't explain why my card will not update. What is bad is I put this in back in July of last year, but this is the first I have heard of the problem.

Odd... What IPLC card do you have? 64IPLA, 128IPLA, 64IPLA-A or 182IPLC-A?

Regardeless, I would suggest you load the M1 3.02 Flash ROM software to the CP00/CP01 via the "Program Upgrade (On-line)" then again try to upgrade the VoIP card. The software to upgrade the VoIP card is part of the Flash ROM software. Maybe the one on the CPU is corrupt? Even though it says R9, you can still upgrade to this revision.

On NEC NTAC WEB site it is listed as:

SV8300 MP Software Revision M1 3.02 (R9)
