827h port routing

I have a Cisco 827h and im having problems allowing access to multiple ports for various apps. for example ftp i can set up ports individualy but not ranges. The CRWS is very basic and I have little knowledge of commands when telneting into the router altho i have managed to add individual ports via telnet, the IOS is 12.2 if this is any help.
