amazingly enough im in the need of an 81c CP4 install boot floppy - or at least the contents inside of one.

CP68060/60E
Install Programm
CP3/4 Ver.29
copyright 2005 Nortel

the one I have seems to be specifically for a 61c and I need to somehow get my hands on an 81c boot floppy or the files on it and ill make my own.

I can send my email if anyone has any way for me to grab these files.

thanks very much

I have an option 81C with rls 4.5 IODUC nt5d61 and cp cards.
I need the floppy boot disk for the nt5d61c for an 81c - I believe this is a cp3/4.

So this is part of what you will need, now to find the install files

Solution

Place CD in a PC drive and a floppy disk in the A: drive

for CPP Option 81
-----------------
Go to the \0450_xMR.N33\target\p\install and execute the mkboot.bat file

for CPP Option 61
-----------------
Go to the \0450_xMR.N32\target\p\install and execute the mkboot.bat file

for CP3/4
---------------------
Open the 0450_xMR.I29/target/cp3/f0 directory. Select all.
(This should include disk2421.sys,disk2521.sys,disk2621.sys,disk2821.sys,disk2921.sys, disk3021.sys and a p folder.)
Copy and paste files onto a blank floppy. This is a CP3/CP4 install disk. WRITE PROTECT

CPP4 - Bootable PCMCIA creation
-------------------------------

- Download the CP PIV software load zip file from software download site.

- Extract all the files to a temporary folder. You will see 5 folders under the
temp directory, as follows:
temp backup
install
keycode
swload
utilities

- Goto the utilities direcory and open the README_BOOTABLE_RMD.txt file(with Wordpad) and follow the instructions.

thanks very much!!!

ill give it a go but I don't have pcmcia cards - we are still on floppy disks on this beast. Im thinking our install cp boot floppy has the wrong boot info and is booting to a 61c. I cant validate my keycodes (new dongles, new keys) so im thinking I need an 81c boot file somehow. that my 68060 boot floppy is incorrect.
its the last thing I can try.

I reread your post and it includes floppy info - im gonna give it a go.

specifically
WRITE PROTECT

my current floppy is missing the disk3021 files which my keycode says i have so im hoping this is it.

awesomeness!!

thanks very very much

Open the 0450_xMR.I29/target/cp3/f0 directory. Select all.
(This should include disk2421.sys,disk2521.sys,disk2621.sys,disk2821.sys,disk2921.sys, disk3021.sys and a p folder.)
Copy and paste files onto a blank floppy. This is a CP3/CP4 install disk. WRITE PROTECT
