8150N-Huge lower tray avec pulleys DEAD

Hi Tekkies

Got an 8150N HP Laserjet with the following inability. It cant see that paper is in tray 4 (which is like a medievel thing inside with a pulley/winch system to hoist up the white stuff). I've tried loading this deep tray quite full but it wont register. Anyone know where the sensor is on this tray please? An added bonus is that it is printing with the text not being square on the page - it leans to the left, this seems to be mechanical rather than settings. FYI - it has an IPDS chip installed. Warranty is FINISH!!! Any ideas for thissun guys and gals???

Does the tray 4 appear on the configpage of the printer as installed ? Also check this link and see if there`s any hints :
