Hi,

I did a site survey following complaint from several people that their wi-fi connection has been cut off regularly in the evening.

During the survey I find that there are more than 10 other wi-fi networks within the vicinities or within premises of the building.

Our main channels are 4, 9 and 13 and 6 - other rouge channels are:

Few 1 , 5, Few 6 , 7, Few 11 Channels

For channel 6(from netstumbler) I get RSSI of +160, what does that mean?

Channel/RSSI for our AP are 4/-34, 9/-37 and 13/-35

What can I conclude form this?

"What can you conclude from this?..."

1. Try rearranging the APs so that users get stronger (wanted) signals.

2. Check out viability of using 802.11A rather than B/G.

3. Look at possibly using wired (Ethernet) connections.
