When I recently setup an 801 to use ISDN dialin, I set the clock and date. But on reload it does not remember the setting. We do not use an NTP server, so is there a way for it to store and remember the setting on power down?

croth,

I have a Cisco 800 series router (827 ADSL) and if your Cisco 801 is like mine then you have to reset the clock everytime you power off/on the router. Check out thread557-69870 and you will see. Good luck! :) -soupnazi-

Thanks soupnazi.
So basically the 801 does not remember the time on reload. Am I right in saying this, the only way it would work is if I had a NTP Server?
