800# / Toll Fre Routing Part 2

Guys,

Thanks for the quick help last time. I have another task that I've been playing with. I currently have a 800 number pointing to a VDN and a Vector. The VDN is using destination in variables field on page 3 and I have route-to number V1 in the vector. What I need to do is to point this 800# to 4 additional extension to turn this 800# to ring into a group of people. I've tried adding destination in V2, V3, and V4 with the extensions but when testing it's only ringing to the destination in V1. What am I missing or should I be doing this a different way.

why not just point it to an xported station with a coverage path to a coverage answer group

I would create a hunt group or send it to bridged appearances.

For example add hunt XXX.

If you want a basic circular hunt group choose circ and then on page 3 you would input the extensions into that.

Then in the vector you would add:

queue-to XXX (XXX being the hunt group you created).

This will then ring each phone in order that you have them in the hunt group.

Bridged Appearance:
1. Created an extension on the switch (make sure it is 46XX, 96XX, 64XX etc..) Make sure you input at least three call appearance.
2. Then you would go to each station on one of the buttons input "brdg-app"
3. B: is the button you would use from the station you just created
4. E: is the extension that you created.
5. Go to the vector and where you have the route to and going to the original extension change that to the new extension.
6. Make sure on the new extension and all the extensions that this is bridged that on page 2 that "Bridged Call Alerting" is checked as Y.
