Hi,
I have a legend with a CKE3 R7 processor, an 008MLX card, and I just added a 800 GS/LS-ID card. Does anyone know if the ID card will work with CKE3? I don't get dialtone on any of the lines, and SPM says the 800 ID card is in standby mode, and the error log says it can't detect loop current, but I know the 2 lines are live. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

A GS/LS ID card should work on a CKE3. It sounds like you may have a bad card. You did do a board renumber when adding it, right?

Hi,
I removed an 800 gs/ls card I had in there, and replaced it with the 800 gs/ls-id card. The system saw it, but said it was in standby mode. I put the 800 gs/ls card back in slot 2, and the id card in slot 3, the id card works fine, no problem. No, I didn't renumber the cards when I did it. I shouldn't have to have the 800 gs/ls card, and the id card in at the same time, correct? I only need the id outside line card, but if I need to leave the gs/ls card in, I will. Any help would be appreciated, but at least I have it working now, but would prefer to only have the id outside line card in it.

THanks,
Don

well, board renumbers solve all kind of funky problems. I would try putting the ID card back in slot 2, and renumbering.

I agree.

If you didn't do a board renumber, the system probably didn't see the card 100%.

Thanks guys! I renumbered, and that did the trick, I hope I can return the favor one day!! Have a good one!
