8 Port Streamline Default IP Address

I need to change the IP settings in two 8 port streamlines. According to the documentation, the default IP address is 192.168.100.1 However, I'm unable to login or ping them. I've changed my laptops IP address to 192.168.100.2

Is the default IP address correct?

nevermind. realized that it's a passive device.

nothing to configure or any means to troubleshoot like the 24 and 48 port models
