What do I need to enable 8 or more party conferencing? What cards do I install and programming associated with it?
We use ips 2000. Any hints will be very much appreciated.
We will need a little more information. The early IPS software allowed for a 6 party CNF card and a second one brought it to 10 party, however it was a port hog using way too many ports in the system. Later software added a digital CNF card, which used a T-1 license. The basic system software allowed for 5 T-1/PRI cards. The T-1 CNF card has 32 ports for conferencing which can be sub-divided into 4 - 8 party, 2 - 8 party
+ 1 - 16 party, 2 - 16 party or 1 - 32 party conference circuits.
Check CMD F85>FF03 for software level, or log in with MatWorX and look at the top bar.
CFTC-A = digital CNF card
You have software version P1 = 3900. That is the latest and last version. You can add the digital conference card in any LT/AP slot since it is considered an application processor. It uses time slots from the CPU.
