Hello. :D

I like to know how do I print a 8 meter long banner.
My paper size is 329mm x 10 meters, ? My Art work is 315 x 8 meters, I have a epson PHOTO 1290 A3 printer.

Or can this be done in one Pass ? the hole 8 meters as this is what I like to really know how to set up this type of print.

thank you for any help I can get cheers.. NGX

Hi, NGX,

My limited knowledge of the Epson Photo Stylus 1290 suggests that the printer driver will handle the 8m+ roll.

However PM has these limits:

"Maximum Paper Size
The maximum paper size you can specify is 42 inches by 42 inches. In PageMaker 6.5x and later, you specify it in the Document Setup dialog box. (42" is about 1060mm.)

Maximum Text Block Size
The maximum size of a text object is 21 inches by 21 inches. (If you place text in a frame that is larger than that, PageMaker will reduce the frame's dimensions to 21 inches by 21 inches.)

Maximum Printable Area
The maximum page size PageMaker can print is 45.5 inches by 45.5 inches."

From:
So you'd need about an 800% scaling factor in the print menu from a page of 1000mm × 40mm.

I suggest you do a simple trial run in Economy mode! Have fun.

Iechyd da! John
