Hello all,

I have orginzational charts that are in PowerPoint but are 8.5 x 14" landscape. When i try to convert to .pdf using acrobat 5 they never come out bigger then a regular sheet of paper and i lose information. I've tried setting the conversation settings for page size to 8.5 x 14" but it still converts to a regular size.

Anybody help me???

Rizza,
I just tried to make a similar PDF and ran into the same issue. Here's what I figured out to solve the size problem.
First, I didn't have an example in PowerPoint so I used PageMaker. I set up my doc to be landscape 14 x 8.5. I sent it to the PS printer to make my PS file. The Printer is set to Acrobat Distiller and the PPD is also Distiller. On my Print menu, I checked the Paper properties and found that I needed to change the size from Letter to Custom and change the Custom Paper Size to 14 x 8.5. Then I saved, thus creating the PS file. In Distiller, I checked the Settings>Job Options to be sure on the General tab that the default paper settings were 14 x 8.5. Then I dragged the PS file onto the Distiller and made the PDF. When it opened in Acrobat, I checked the File>Document Properties>Summary to verify the actual size was 14 x 8.5 and everything worked correctly. I don't know if this procedure is similar to yours but I hope this helps. [peace] Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Seek and ye shall find!
