I just installed 8.5 on my win2000 server. When I backup
files across the network that reside on an old nt 3.51 server it changes the "date created" property of the files being backed up to 01/01/1601. The seems to backup fine it just changes the create date for some reason.

I think it has something to do with the 32bit nt2000 storage
structure and the old nt 3.51 16bit storage structure.

I know you cannot install version 8.5 on an old 3.51 server,
but I never read anything about not being able to back up files on a nt 3.51.

Any information would be interesting, just trying to figure out the whole story/????

thanks
